About this site
Solar Panels Cork is an independent local guide to home solar in County Cork. It does not sell or install solar panels. If you ask for quotes, your details are passed to installers.
Who runs it
The site is run by the team behind Solar Info, the Irish solar installer directory.
The quote form on this site is free to use. Requests go to Solar Info, which passes them to up to three installers that cover your area. Installers pay Solar Info for those introductions. That does not change the figures on this site.
Where the figures come from
The price ranges are built from published Irish installer price lists and checked against other publicly available Irish pricing. They sit toward the upper end of what installers quote, so a real quote should come in at or below the range shown. Prices were last reviewed in April 2026.
Generation, saving and payback figures use Cork's solar yield. Grant amounts are taken from the SEAI scheme rules, and the planning section is based on the Planning and Development Regulations as amended by SI 493/2022 and SI 492/2022.
The installer list is taken from the Solar Info directory, which is built on the SEAI register of solar installers. It shows companies based in County Cork and was last updated on 8 October 2026. Google ratings are as shown on Google on that date.
